Practical compliance guides for SaaS operators.

FounderCompliance.com helps SaaS founders and startup operators understand the operational side of compliance: company setup, payments, sales tax, payroll, legal documents, privacy, and B2B trust requirements.

Our goal is to make tool decisions clearer without pretending that a blog post can replace legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

Who runs FounderCompliance: about Alan

FounderCompliance is run by Alan, a multi-business owner. Running more than one business means facing the same back-office questions again and again: how to accept payments, when sales tax starts to matter, how to pay employees and contractors, which accounting setup to use, how to form a company, and which compliance tools are actually worth paying for.

Alan has personally spent a lot of time researching small business finance tools—payments, tax, payroll, accounting, company formation, and compliance software. He runs this site to share his experience and findings with other founders, so you can make these decisions with less guesswork and fewer expensive surprises.

How the guides are put together

  • Research starts with official sources: vendor documentation, published pricing pages, and government or tax authority guidance.
  • When pricing is quote-based or unpublished, guides say so and label estimates clearly.
  • Pages are reviewed and updated regularly because features, prices, and rules change. Each guide shows when it was last reviewed.
  • Some links may be affiliate links, and FounderCompliance may earn a commission. This does not increase the price you pay and does not determine editorial conclusions. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
Not legal or tax advice: Everything on FounderCompliance is educational. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Confirm decisions for your own business with a qualified attorney, CPA, or tax professional.
